1. Ciutadella Park

This beautiful city park is loved both by locals and tourists, who come here to take a break from the heat, train, do yoga, play guitar and meet friends for picnics. It has an impressive fountain, which is simply stunning and offers a variety of photography backdrops. 2. Park Güell

Colorful, luscious, and with stunning vistas over Barcelona. What else can you ask for? This UNESCO World Heritage Site designed by the genius architect Antoní Gaudí attracts thousands of visitors every year. Even though it gets very packed, if you get there early, you might end up with the most magical photos ever. If she likes landmarks, views, and colorful tiles, she is going to love Park Güell. It truly is like a fairytale!

3. Bunkers del Carmel

Known as Bunkers del Carmel or Turó de la Rovira, this viewpoint is more known to the locals than tourists. However, as with most of the amazing places in Barcelona, it can get busy during the day. If you want to make it just about the two of you, better get up early! You won’t regret it. The pastel sunrise over Barcelona with you going down on your knee is something she will remember forever.

4. Plaça d'Espanya

A spectacular fountain in front of the Museum of National Art of Catalonia. There are lots of things to do in the area (such as walking around Montjuic Hill or the Spanish Village), so it’s a perfect place to surprise her by proposing after you do the sightseeing!

5. Parc del Laberint d'Horta

Labyrinth Parc (in Catalan called Parc del Laberint d’Horta), also known as Barcelona Maze is straight out of a fairytale. The green labyrinth looks impressive, especially at sunrise and sunset, and makes an absolutely magical backdrop for proposals. Take your girlfriend to the secret maze and pop the Question. She’ll love it, we promise.

6. Montjuïc Hill

There are many locations for a perfectly romantic proposal in Montjuic. If you aim for stunning sunset views, go to Mirador del Alcalde. If she loves cacti, you can propose in the Cactus Garden. If you’re not shy and don’t mind having some audience while you’re asking her to marry you, you can do it in front of Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya. The views over the city and Tibidabo mountain are just mesmerizing at sunset. 

7. The Gothic Quarter

This beautiful old part of Barcelona is full of secret corners and majestic buildings. You can choose between one of many cozy cobbled streets with typical Barcelona architecture or more popular spots, such as Barcelona Cathedral or Pont del Bisbe. If your partner likes old European towns, this is your place to propose! 

8. The beach
